Located close to several tramstops in the area, beach is a 2 minute walk, supermarkets close by as well as enough restaurants and entertainment options (cinema, theater, sealife, 'de pier', casino, etc). Checking in went smoothly, staff very friendly elevators available, basic-room with city view. I did get a refrigerator as asked :). The bar downstairs is open till 00.00. Breakfast-room is nice and clean. Breakfast is good, although I prefer small packages (for Jam, Nutella etc) instead of the big jars, due to hygiene reasons. Same goes for handsoap and shampoos in the room. Maybe less nature-friendly, but it's more hygienic. Evening staff put sweets on the counter, and were actually at the desk downstairs to welcome me, when I came back from a walk on the beach. Makes you feel noted. Didn't happen when checking in around 1400h. (just an observation)

There are small supermarkets everywhere in the neighborhood where you can pop in late at night to get some groceries or anything else. We traveled with our dog and that was absolutely no problem. The Ibis staff in the reception hall are extremely friendly and are always available to answer questions or anything else. We had a room on the 7th floor with a very nice view. It is totally quiet in the neighborhood, which makes the stay very pleasant.

The room was great and the hotel interior and decor was superb- stylish and relaxing. Staff were helpful- showed us where we could store our bikes inside overnight. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The hotel was ideally placed for visiting the old part of Scheveningen and also the seafront.

The inside of the hotel and our room was lovely - Very modern design/decor very clean and smelt really nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - Provided some hot water for us so that we could make a drink in our room.
