ibis Styles Den Haag Scheveningen

The location was perfect. You only had to cross one street and you were already on the beach. There are small supermarkets everywhere in the neighborhood where you can pop in late at night to get some groceries or anything else. We traveled with our dog and that was absolutely no problem. The Ibis staff in the reception hall are extremely friendly and are always available to answer questions or anything else. We had a room on the 7th floor with a very nice view. It is totally quiet in the neighborhood, which makes the stay very pleasant.

Located close to several tramstops in the area, beach is a 2 minute walk, supermarkets close by as well as enough restaurants and entertainment options (cinema, theater, sealife, 'de pier', casino, etc). Checking in went smoothly, staff very friendly elevators available, basic-room with city view. I did get a refrigerator as asked :). The bar downstairs is open till 00.00. Breakfast-room is nice and clean. Breakfast is good, although I prefer small packages (for Jam, Nutella etc) instead of the big jars, due to hygiene reasons. Same goes for handsoap and shampoos in the room. Maybe less nature-friendly, but it's more hygienic. Evening staff put sweets on the counter, and were actually at the desk downstairs to welcome me, when I came back from a walk on the beach. Makes you feel noted. Didn't happen when checking in around 1400h. (just an observation)

Large room, very comfy bed. 2minutes from beach, shops, restaurants, cinema so excellent location. The breakfast was also good with a wide selection of food choice.
